Clients come to Five Oaks Homes with widely varying
ideas for their new home. Some have complete drawing sets nearly
ready for construction, while other clients have only a budget and a
general idea of what their home might look like. Our design
process is tailored to help our clients complete the picture,
regardless of when they start their journey with us. The three
primary phases of design are:
Phase One
- The first step in designing a house is the idea development
phase. We get to know potential clients, explore their needs and
desires for their new home, and discuss their budget goals.
Phase Two
- The client's house starts to take shape during the schematic design
phase. We create a preliminary design that conforms to their
desires and budget.
Phase Three
- In the design development phase we examine the details of the
home, assist the client in selecting specific materials and
finishes, and provide more precise pricing. |
